The Hornbill FAQs

  • Towels, bed Linen, outdoor towels and a throw are provided.

  • Yes, there is enough space for 2 cars.

  • The kitchen is equipped with a two-burner induction hob, convection microwave with grill, kettle, toaster, Nespresso coffee machine, and teapot. We also provide a selection of pots, pans, and cooking utensils, as well as salt and pepper.

    Outside, you'll find a fire pit, a Kamado Joe egg BBQ unit, and an open fire grill. We also provide utensils for outdoor cooking.

  • At the moment there is no option to check-in early or check -out later.

  • To make the most of your stay in the countryside, bring comfortable clothing suitable for outdoor activities, such as walking boots, a waterproof coat, and warm layers for cooler months. Don't forget your swimsuit for a refreshing dip in the hot tub or ice bath!

  • Yes, don't worry, even though it is an escape, you do have the option of staying connected to the outside world ;)

  • You will arrive to a welcome basket with home baked goodies (please alert us of any dietary requirements), and other knick knacks. These will vary from stay to stay.

    A complimentary supply of Tea and Coffee, small milk, a bottle of mineral water and white sugar cubes are available.

    The Hornbill is self catering.

  • Support is available via WhatsApp between 10:00 AM and 8:00 PM. In case of personal emergencies or fire, please call 999 for emergency services and contact management using the provided details.

  • While the Hornbill cabin comfortably accommodates up to 3 guests, we also have a separate room available for additional guests in our main house. If you're traveling with friends or family, you can rent this room to accommodate an additional 2 people. More details HERE.
